Storskogen acquires Primulator
Stockholm, Oslo, March 1st, 2021 – Storskogen has acquired Primulator, a seller and service provider of global leading brands of coffee, ice cream and pastry machines. Clients are mainly hotel, restaurant, and catering businesses, horeca, in Northern Europe.
Primulator AS is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and has been a family-owned company since its beginning in 1966. Today, the company has a presence in eight markets in the Nordics, Poland, and the Baltics. Primulator has sales and support of global brands include WMF and Faema coffee machines, Carpigiani ice cream and pastry machines, Merrychef high-speed ovens, Bunn coffee brewers and other exclusive brands for the horeca segments as well as convenience stores and gas stations.
Primulator has a turnover of approximately 40 million euro and 160 employees. The CEO of Primulator, Ricardo Garcia Tønder, will remain with the company in his current capacity.

The acquisition of the Primulator marks Storskogen’s second acquisition in Norway and is part of Storskogen’s strategy to grow outside of Sweden. The company will become a part Storskogen’s business area Trade, led by Christer Hansson, Executive Vice President.
