Storskogen acquires Frigo and strengthens its position in the refrigeration market in Switzerland.
Stockholm, Zuzwil, St. Gallen, 31 August 2021 – Storskogen has acquired Frigo AG, an installation company in the refrigeration market in Switzerland. The company was founded in 1947 and has two locations in the western part of Switzerland, Berne and Biel. The transaction was completed at the end of August 2021 and is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Storskogen’s earnings.
The acquisition of Frigo is an add-on acquisition to Storskogen’s subsidiary Frigel AG and will support Frigel’s strategy to expand the geographic footprint and establish new locations across Switzerland to be able to provide a better service experience for its client base. The former owner will remain with Frigo and looks forward to developing the company together with Frigel.
