Storskogen acquires Agio

Storskogen has acquired a majority stake in Agio System och Kompetens AB. The company delivers IT solutions, services and management and business development to customers in the public sector and banks and industrial companies in the private sector. The transaction was completed on April 1st, 2021.

Agio was founded in 2003 and specializes in streamlining processes with the help of digital solutions and offers services within decision support, digital administration and production management. The company consists of about 80 consultants with offices in Stockholm, Luleå and Kiruna. Following the transaction, the founders Richard Jonsson, Jan Sundström and Joakim Wiklund will remain in their current operating roles and remain as shareholders in Agio.

 “This marks a new chapter for the company, and we are very positive about continuing to develop the company together with Storskogen. Having such a financially strong and long-term owner also provides stability, not only for us but also for our customers”, says Richard Jonsson, CEO of Agio.

 Agio is the 19:th acquisition that Storskogen has conducted for the year and Agio will be a part of Storskogen's business area Services, within the sub-segment Digital Services. Agio is the fourth business unit in Digital services, and Thomas Larsson, Head of Segment, welcomes the addition of Agio to Storskogen.
