Stål & Rörmontage receives the Steel Construction Award 2023
Storskogen’s business unit Stål & Rörmontage received another accolade with The Steel Construction Award 2023, for the bridge Varvsbron, at a ceremony in Stockholm on 19 October. This prestigious award follows the European Steel Design Award they received last month, also in honour of Varvsbron.
As the Steel Construction Day in Stockholm drew to a close on 19 October, the Steel Construction Institute presented the Steel Construction Award to Varvsbron, an eye-catching bridge arcing gracefully over the harbour basin in Helsingborg. Stål & Rörmontage, a part of Storskogen's Industrial Technology vertical, stood as one of the four distinguished recipients of this honour, a testament to their exemplary work which had earlier been acknowledged by the European Steel Design Award from the ECCS in September 2023.
Varvsbron is an inventive passage for pedestrians and cyclists, representing a significant step in the City of Helsingborg's initiative to nurture new neighbourhoods and revitalise its historic harbour.
